TASHKENT FASHION WEEK

Professional Fashion Week in Tashkent.

Preparations for Fashion Week were held throughout the year in several stages:

• Development of the concept of Professional Fashion Week;
• The selection stage to take part in fashion show;

Designers wishing to participate in the Tashkent fashion week need  to apply the following information to the Organizing Committee:

• Name and contact information (phone, e-mail)
• Information about the brand  and its' brief description;
• Select the category to particpiate in:

        - "Young designers" defile - 7-11 pcs in collection;

        - "National Dress" festival - 9 pcs in collection;

        -  Designer's fashion show - 35-50 pcs in collection;

        - Gala-show - 9 pcs in collection.

Participants will be selected by the organizing committee of Fashion Week. Participant need to present a collection, it is advisable to have a collection's look-book (photoset), also it can be presented with sketches. The Organizing Committee undertakes not to use the information provided in the application for commercial purposes. 

One author may submit an application to participate in several categories.

"Young designers" category is intended for novice designers, will be connducted in the format of group shows throughout 2 days. This category does not limit the style and direction of the presented collections.

"National Dress" Festival will bring together designers, working with the national stylistics, traditional cut or fabrics.

Designer's show category will be presented in the program every day of the week.

The Gala-show will be the final closing show. This category is open to all designers, whos collection will be selected and showcased at Fashion Week.

The main organizer of Fashion Week - the Association of Designers of Uzbekistan "OSIYO RAMZI', in order to support the Tashkent Fashion Week takes over and provides all the necessary facilities for shows and other events, including the location (lighting, podium, sound, director, host), models, stylists, hairdressers and make-up artists. Particular attention will be paid to support and promot young designers.

Exhibition halls of "The Center of Culture and Art of Youth" will be used as the main location for fashion shows. Workshops and seminar trainings  will be held in the conference rooms of the National Library named after Alisher Navoi.

Fashion Week includes exhibitions, workshops and seminar-training from foreign experts, daily designer shows by Uzbek and foreign designers, fashion shows of young designers. The Week will be concluded with a colorful closing ceremony - Gala-fashion show.
